At Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm we are gearing up to change over from summer to fall and winter. In the field, that means we are seeding winter cover crops to nurture the soil and planting crops that need to overwinter to produce in the spring (like strawberries). In the kitchen, it means that we've been thinking about new classes and sweet treats to bring your way!

Oct-Dec Learning Kitchen Classes and Socials
Every season we offer some "old favorite" classes that have been popular among The Learning Kitchen participants and some new classes (we've got to keep our returning customers happy with variety -- as of today 9/1/2025, we have 144 people who have been to more than one class; our top customer has been to 15 different classes!). We also try out new formats. This time we have added a "social" and also cookie decorating with Chef Missy. All other classes continue to be with Chef Mark, co-owner at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm.
We know not everyone is off on the weekends (we're not!) so we offer classes on various evenings in the hope that everyone will find at least a few that work.
Some October classes were already sold out at the time of this posting so I have only included here classes with seats available.
Active Cooking Classes for Adults or Teens/Tweens with Supportive Adults
All classes at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm are designed for beginners but some of them have advanced techniques that our chef-instructors guide you through. Currently, they are all active, hands-on activities where you participate in making or decorating the featured ingredients. Click on links to learn more and register.

Savory Cooking Classes

Dessert-Making Classes
These classes are for the serious cookie artist who wants to learn or perfect royal icing artistry techniques.
November 1: Day of Dead Themed Cookies
November 15: Fall Themed Cookies (coming soon)
December 6: Winter Holiday Themed Cookies (coming soon)

NEW: Gingerbread Cookie Socials (sign up for any of the 7 sessions here)
This is a new format. Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm provides the space, materials, and some inspiration so that friends and family can gather and paint cookies together. Children 6+ are welcome with supportive adults. Pricing varies by adult, child, and number of people. You can request different sets of cookies (Christmas shapes, Hanukkah shapes, Gingerbread Men, and Winter shapes): 12/9, 12/13, 12/18, 12/19
Private Cooking, Baking and Chocolate-Making Classes
Yes, there is still an opportunity to book private classes families, adult friend groups, and teambuilding for 2025. Minimum class prices vary by length and type, but usually 6 people make the minimum price. You can have fewer people as long as you meet the minimum price.
Most public classes can be done as private classes
Class length varies from 1.5-2.5 hours
Most private classes can be larger than public classes
Contact us to let us know what you are interested in (sweet or savory) and what month(s), day(s) of the week, time(s) of the day you are most interested in. Tell us about how many people you'd like to have (maximums vary from 6-16 people).
Bulk Chocolate Orders
Are you having a special event where you would like some special chocolates?
Contact us as soon as you start thinking about it (recommended at least 3 months ahead).
We are happy to discuss flavor, shape, and packaging options.
We can offer fewer options with less time to plan and may not be available.

Really liked how this post kept things simple and didn’t make me feel like I had to “study” to get the point. The flow was easy enough that I could skim, pause, then jump back in without losing the thread. I randomly opened https://newimage.io/ halfway through because it reminded me of that same clean, no-drama vibe, and it didn’t feel cluttered at all. What I appreciate most is when the writing is broken into bite-sized chunks instead of giant walls of text, and this nailed that. It also helps when the page layout doesn’t fight you—no weird spacing or distracting stuff pulling your eyes around. On the site, the headings are spaced out nicely and the sections feel clearly separated…
