in March, we will start adding public classes for later in the year, but feel free to contact us any time for private classes
Outdoor On-Farm Market
Opening Day is Saturday, May 17 (17 weeks away)
We are so excited to begin the countdown for Year 6 of selling our Middletown-grown fruits, herbs, and veggies to our Middletown and Frederick neighbors and visitors!
We used to aim for Mother's Day weekend, but most years we have to push it back because the weather has not cooperated. So, this year, we are just going to start a week later.
Chocolate Shop Hours for Spring Celebrations!

In January, we are working to update our purchasing system to make it easier for everyone to pre-order for pick up.
Valentine's Day: pre-ordering starts 2/2; see February calendar for shop dates
Easter: pre-ordering starts 4/6; see April calendar for shop dates
Mother's Day: pre-ordering starts 4/27; see May calendar for shop dates
Register for Tasty Culinary Adventure Farm Activities!
Learn how to cook, bake, and make other sweet treats. Get new recipe ideas. Refine your techniques. Have fun learning in a low pressure environment that encourages curiosity, learning how to think like a chef, and lots of tasty food. Classes are primarily for adults although teens and tweens paired with a supportive adult may join as well. Contact us if you would like to arrange a private team-building or family class in any of these topics or something you don't see but have always wanted to learn; it is best to check in at least 3 months before your desired date.
2025 is Year 3 of The Learning Kitchen at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm
We really appreciate the 300+ people who have taken classes with us already (check out our 2024 year-end blog) and we are looking forward to meeting lots of new folks! Click the links on the dates to view and register for classes.
We brought back some participant-favorite classes
And developed some new classes
Special Valentine Session: Making Mousse Cakes and Mirror Glaze Feb 14
Make it a date night to remember with just 6 people in this class
"Inspired by" Hands On Classes which are like most of our classes where you watch, listen, and participate. Each of these focuses on particular flavors and ingredients from around the world so you can learn how to use them in a traditional dish or two, plus how to make it your own "inspired by" creation. These classes have just 6 people each.
"Inspired by" Demonstration Classes where you listen, watch, and taste but don't participate in the making. Kind of like you are watching an expert on TV except you get to ask questions AND taste the food! If you can't stand for long periods or would just rather listen, these are the classes for you!
Baking sweet and brunchy treats (we are still working on some of these ideas and they will be coming soon). These are in our traditional hands-on style.
