Fall 2024 Cooking Activities at The Learning Kitchen

Click on the links below to register for a fall class at The Learning Kitchen at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm. Classes are geared towards adults. If you are an adult who would like to take a class with an interested teen or tween, that is fine too. Classes are a little bit "history of," a little bit ingredient knowledge, lots of hands on (chopping, mixing, shaping), lots of encouragement and inspiration, lots of laughs and smiles. Take home what you make, plus recipes on how to do it again.

Private Classes, Activities, and Events for Fall 2024

A variety of families and groups have already booked private classes for this Fall at The Learning Kitchen at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm. We have hosted employee team-building, family reunions, business thank you celebrations, bible study groups, classes for retirement home residents, etc.

If you have an interest in doing something with a special group, we recommend contacting us at least 3 months in advance (of course you can always try with less advance notice - sometimes we can fit you in). Here are some things to consider:

  • We can provide chocolates for off-site special events such as weddings, baby showers, and other gatherings. We can design special flavors or colors, supply in bulk or by the box. Please contact us at least 4 months ahead for maximum options.

  • Your class can be tailored to fit your interests/needs or it can be an existing class (but we are not designed for children's birthday parties or other all-children classes).

  • Allowable class size depends on type but The Learning Kitchen space is for small gatherings of 20 or fewer people. Most classes have an optimal size of 6-10 people.

  • You will need to purchase a minimum of $200 for class time of 1.5-2 hours or $400 for class time of 2.5-4 hours. Exact pricing varies by the cost of class materials (and how much we can source from the farm), the specialization, and the length of the class.

Thank you and Coming Soon

Thanks so much for everyone who has already participated at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm; it is important to us to be part of a vibrant community. Learn more about our sustainable farming methods because we take our responsibility to be stewards of the land seriously.

Coming soon... more information about some of the people and organizations we regularly partner with and what else is happening this fall (why we only have one class for December).
