Why Naming the Bunny on the Tractor Floydette?

So it seems I was the only one to vote on the tractor bunny's name, and I chose Floydette. Why did I choose that name?

The first farmer I ever knew was my Aunt Joanie's dad. His name was Floyd. My Aunt Joanie grew up on Floyd's dairy farm in a part of Maryland near Delware. She and her many sisters did all the farm chores including milking the cows and driving the tractor. The family didn't have any boys so one of her sisters is Floydette.

This bunny proudly wears her name and aspires to be an independent, strong farm woman like her.
