Week 2: 2024 On-Farm Outdoor Market

Saturday, May 25 will be week 2 of our 2024 On-Farm Outdoor Market at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm (9am-1pm at 7957 Hollow Road, Middletown, MD 21769). We accept cash, credit, and debit. Open rain or shine.

  • Thanks so much to everyone who came out to see us during the pouring rain and mucky mud of opening day last Saturday!

  • Our regulars Jill and Karen were the first to arrive as usual! We so look forward to seeing everyone, hearing about what's new with family, what you are growing in your gardens, and sharing what we are doing on the farm.

New This Year for the Outdoor Market!

Reusable shopping bag from Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm

If you came out last week, you got our new Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm reusable shopping bag as a thank you for showing up on opening day in the rain.

  • You can get one of these new bags for free if you buy $15 worth of veggies, fruit, and herbs or you can buy one for $3.

Order Ahead or Just Browse on Saturday

  • You can order online Monday-Thursday and then pick up at the Saturday market -- this is particularly good if you are in a hurry or you want to be sure we don't sell out

  • You can come to the market tent and browse what we've got.

  • And, you can do a mix -- reserve some online and then see what else we've got at the tents.

Produce New This Week!

  • Radishes (they were a market surprise last week)

  • Persian cucumbers -- they are seedless, and small-sized; I have seen many a child at market just hold it in their hand and eat as a snack!
