Saturdays, 9am-1pm, 7957 Hollow Road, Middletown, MD 21769

  • Accepting many payment types

  • Come on out and say hello!

Every week throughout peak season (mid-May through mid-September), we have some new farm fresh treats, some carrying through, and some that have a very short season and are only available briefly.

We will have this weekly market blog to let you know what to expect. [But, there is always a chance there will also be a "market surprise" -- something we discover we can harvest just at the last minute so it does make it into the blog.]

Carrying Through from Last Week:

  • Everything from the Week 1 blog

  • Plus last week's Market Surprise:

    • Kohlrabi! (the groundhog did not eat it this year)

    • Rosemary

NEW THIS WEEK

  • Strawberry-Orange Jam

  • Beets, Celery, Cabbage

  • Dill

  • Garleek -- a cross between garlic and leeks (our first time growing this)

  • More types of radish: French breakfast, Golden helios, Lutea carrot radish, Hailstones white radish (our first time trying out a few of these -- different types of radishes can add more color to the dishes you already love and have different levels of sharp and mild, pepperiness, and nuttiness)

  • More types of mushrooms: We are growing mushrooms for the first time here at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm. We will have some homegrown Golden Mushrooms, Lion's Mane, and shitakes! Check out this blog with how to use mushrooms.
